The Incident

- Persaud was consuming alcoholic beverages at a local shop in Skull City during the day.
- A misunderstanding arose between Persaud and another man, identified as Alex Gonsalves, leading to a physical altercation.
- At approximately 22:30 hours, Persaud and his friend, 26-year-old Daimon Ramnarine, were confronted by Gonsalves in the Skull City area.
- Gonsalves, armed with a knife, allegedly stabbed Persaud multiple times.
- Ramnarine attempted to intervene and was also stabbed in the process.
