In a stunning display of skill and precision, seasoned golfer Avinash Persaud emerged victorious at the second edition of the ANSA McAL Pre-Mash Golf Tournament held at the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
Persaud’s performance was nothing short of masterful, as he secured the championship with an impressive Gross 69, Handicap 3, and Net 66. His dominance extended beyond the main title, as he also claimed both the Best Gross and Longest Drive awards, solidifying his status as the tournament’s standout player.
The competition was fierce, with Sheldon Davis and Bridgelall Harry providing strong challenges. Davis finished in second place with a Gross 91, Handicap 24, and Net 67, while Harry rounded out the top three with a Gross 83, Handicap 14, and Net 69.
Adding to the day’s excitement, Patrick Prashad was recognized for his precision and style, earning both the Nearest to Pin and Best Dressed accolades.
