    Part-Time Taxi Driver Dies After Collision with Parked Truck at Yarrowkabra

    A tragic accident occurred on the Linden-Soesdyke Highway at Yarrowkabra, resulting in the death of a part-time taxi driver. Asgar Ramirez, a 26-year-old resident of Yarrowkabra, lost his life after his vehicle collided with a stationary truck.

    Ramirez was driving his silver-colored car, license plate PRR 7155, north along the western side of the highway when he lost control at a high speed. His vehicle struck the rear of a parked blue motor lorry, GAG 5478, owned by Mohamed’s Excavating Service. The truck was parked on the western side of the road, facing north.

    Ramirez sustained severe head and other injuries in the collision. Despite immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries. The Guyana Police Force is conducting an investigation into the incident.
