    Guyana Showcases Cultural Heritage at the 13th Islamic World Culture Ministers Conference

    The Government of Guyana took part in the 13th Conference of Culture Ministers of the Islamic World, held on February 12-13, 2025, in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Representing the nation was the esteemed Islamic Scholar, Shaikh Moeen-ul-Hack.

    During the conference, Shaikh Moeen delivered a message that resonated with both ministers and delegates. He emphasized the diverse nature of Guyanese society and explained how this diversity is being harnessed through the progressive vision of “One Guyana,†advocated by His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, the President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.

    Shaikh Moeen pointed out that the implementation of Dr. Ali’s One Guyana vision is leading to significant transformations across the socio-economic spectrum of the country. He underscored remarkable advancements in various sectors, including housing, sports, infrastructure, healthcare, and education, as well as sound economic management, all contributing to Guyana’s status as one of the fastest-growing economies globally.

    In closing his presentation, Shaikh Moeen emphasized that under the inspiring leadership of His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, Guyana has emerged as a beacon of cultural and religious harmony.
