Minister of Public Works Juan Edghill, in a social media post, has announced the ‘first ever’ public meeting the party has held in Wismar-Wisroc, on Wednesday, August 6.
According to Minister Edghill’s post, he reaffirmed the PPP/C’s unequivocal vision, leadership, and commitment to sustain Guyana’s growth trajectory.
He also reminded the citizens about the importance of their vote at the General and Regional Elections.
“We know that you have a choice, but the right choice for Guyana is the People’s Progressive Party/Civic. And when you have a choice, you have to compare and contrast, so we want you to examine who is in leadership. The PPP/C has the superior leadership.â€

Those present were also assured that the plethora of initiatives and opportunities made available by the PPP/C will be expanded in the second term of governance.
Former APNU MP Jermaine Figueira was also present at the event.
