    New vehicles added to Berbice police fleet

    Regional Divisional Commander of Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne), Assistant Commissioner Shivpersaud Bacchus, on Tuesday handed over four new motorcycles, two motorcars, and one Hilux pickup to be distributed across the region.
    Commander Bacchus reminded the ranks of the importance of keeping the vehicles in excellent condition and emphasised how the new additions would greatly enhance crime-fighting efforts.
    Both the commander and his deputy echoed the sentiment, “Much is given; much is expected,†urging ranks to use the resources responsibly in service to the public.
