Three Women Fatally Shot on Linden-Soesdyke Highway: Domestic Dispute Suspected

    Published on

In a shocking act of violence, three women—a mother and her two daughters—were shot dead late last night along the Linden-Soesdyke Highway, sending shockwaves through the local community. A fourth person, identified as Seon La Cruz, remains in critical condition following the attack.

The victims have been named as Waveny La Cruz and her daughters, Maline La Cruz and Sueann La Cruz. According to sources close to the investigation, the shooting appears to have stemmed from a domestic dispute. Authorities are currently searching for Maline La Cruz’s partner, who is considered a person of interest in the case.

Details emerging from the scene suggest a history of domestic abuse. Maline La Cruz had previously posted a video on social media in January, stating she was forced to leave her home due to ongoing abuse. Several videos on her Facebook page reportedly showed graphic evidence of assault by the suspect.

As of this morning, police have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident. The community remains on edge as investigators continue their search for the suspect and work to piece together the events that led to this tragic loss of life.

The Linden-Soesdyke Highway, typically a lifeline connecting communities, has now become the backdrop for a devastating reminder of the dangers of domestic violence. Residents and advocacy groups are calling for increased support and protection for those at risk, hoping to prevent further tragedies of this nature.
