In a shocking incident that unfolded in the early hours of Thursday morning, a 53-year-old teacher from Turkeyen fell victim to a violent armed robbery, sustaining injuries and losing a substantial sum of money. Shawn Thomas, the victim, was in his yard with his 28-year-old wife when the attack occurred. At approximately 4:55 AM on February 20, 2025, an unidentified male assailant breached the northern fence of Thomas’s property. The perpetrator approached Thomas and demanded money.
Fearing for his life, Thomas informed the robber that his cash was in a black side bag hanging on the western door of the house. The bag contained $250,000 in cash, which the suspect promptly seized.
