Harry Rajkumar, a 46-year-old Toronto man wanted for a violent attack in 2018, has been arrested in Guyana and extradited to Canada to face multiple charges, including attempted murder. The 2018 Incident
On November 23, 2018, Rajkumar allegedly entered a residence near McCowan Road and Eglinton Avenue East in Toronto, where he:
- Assaulted a woman
- Stabbed a 16-year-old female multiple times with an edged weapon
- Fled the scene immediately after the attack
The teenage victim suffered significant stab and slash wounds to her neck, face, and shoulders, and was initially taken to hospital without vital signs. The woman sustained a serious but non-life-threatening head injury.
Arrest and Extradition
After evading authorities for over six years:
- Rajkumar was located and arrested by Guyanese authorities on December 20, 2024, based on information provided by Interpol
