    Essequibo Taxi Driver Charged with Break and Enter

    A 37-year-old taxi driver from Danielstown, Essequibo Coast, has been charged with break and enter and larceny, following his arrest in connection with a recent incident that has drawn attention in the region.

    Arrest and Court Appearance

    The accused, identified as Tuffic Briglall, also known as “Turf,†was taken into custody by police after investigations linked him to a break-in at a local residence. Briglall appeared at the Charity Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Tamieka Clarke, where the charge was formally read.

    Plea and Bail

    Briglall pleaded not guilty to the charge. The magistrate granted him bail in the sum of $250,000, with the condition that he reports to the Anna Regina Police Station twice monthly until the trial concludes.
