Duo Refused Bail Over Breaking and Entering and Larceny Charges

    Published on

Two men accused of breaking and entering and larceny have been denied bail and remanded to prison following their appearance in court. The duo, both construction workers, were charged after allegedly entering a residence and stealing valuables, an incident that has heightened concerns about property crimes in the area.

During their court appearance, both men pleaded not guilty to the charges. Despite their pleas, the prosecution strongly objected to bail, citing the seriousness of the offense and the need to ensure the accused are present for future proceedings. The magistrate agreed, ordering that both men be remanded until their next court date.

The case has been adjourned to allow for the presentation of statements and further investigation. The accused will remain in custody as the legal process continues, underscoring the judiciary’s tough stance on burglary and theft-related crimes.
