On Tuesday, officials from the United States Marshals Service and the U.S. Embassy Regional Security Office visited the Minister of Home Affairs, Robeson Benn, in a courtesy meeting. The gathering took place in the Ministry’s boardroom and revolved around significant areas of collaboration, such as strategies for combating crime, extradition procedures, and other agreements designed to bolster security ties between Guyana and the United States. Present at the meeting were Permanent Secretary Mr. Andre Ally and various officers from the Ministry of Home Affairs. The discussions highlighted the shared commitment of both parties to improving law enforcement partnerships and tackling regional security challenges.
