    The Milo Under-18 Secondary School Football Tournament continues to captivate audiences with thrilling matches and impressive performances from top contenders. Waramuri, Bush Lot, and Dolphin Secondary have emerged as standout teams, maintaining their unbeaten records in the competition.

    Waramuri’s Dominant Performance

    Waramuri, representing Region One, has been particularly impressive, showcasing their strength with a resounding 7-1 victory over Vreed-en-Hoop. Denzell Abrams led the charge with two goals, while Rondell Peters, Erwin Booker, Eldon Lewis, Shakeel Marks, and Ricardo Lewis also contributed to the scoreline. This dominant display underscores Waramuri’s potential to be a serious contender for the championship title.

    Bush Lot’s Victory

    Bush Lot, from Region Five, secured a 3-1 win against Ann’s Grove, with Quaency Fraser scoring twice and Gary Blair adding another goal. Jaylon Adams scored for Ann’s Grove, but it was not enough to prevent the loss. Bush Lot’s consistent performance has kept them in the running for top honors.

    Dolphin Secondary’s Unbeaten Streak

    Dolphin Secondary has also maintained its unbeaten record, demonstrating strong team cohesion and skill. Their ability to navigate challenging matches without a loss has positioned them as a formidable force in the tournament.

    The Milo U18 Football Tournament is renowned for its competitive spirit and the substantial prizes on offer. The winning school will receive GY$300,000 towards a school project, with significant awards for second, third, and fourth-place finishers as well. Individual accolades for MVP, Best Goalkeeper, and Highest Goal Scorer will be awarded, along with recognition for the most disciplined school.
