The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) has officially unveiled its 14-member Under-19 male squad set to represent the nation at the upcoming Cricket West Indies (CWI) Regional Under-19 Tournament, scheduled to take place in St. Kitts later this month.
The squad will be captained by Jonathan Van Lange, with Romario Ramdehol serving as vice-captain. Their selection follows an intensive period of trials, including the GCB Inter-County tournament, rigorous training camps, and individual sessions focused on sharpening both technical skills and mental readiness.
Joining the squad are promising talents Parmeshwar Ram and Shamar Apple, both making the leap from the Under-15 level. Their inclusion highlights the GCB’s commitment to structured player development and the nurturing of emerging stars within Guyana’s cricketing pipeline.

The players are set to enter full encampment from June 17 to June 26, allowing for final preparations before their departure to St. Kitts on June 29. This early encampment is designed to ensure the squad is well-prepared and acclimatized ahead of the tournament.
