The matches, played at the Ministry of Education (MoE) and Queen’s College (QC) grounds, marked the conclusion of the third round of the group stage in the 11th annual tournament.
Dolphin Secondary maintained their unbeaten streak with a commanding 4-0 win over President’s College at the MoE ground. Jamal Williams led the charge with another goal to his name, while Collin Frank David, Kevin Bunton, and Brian Brower each found the back of the net. The victory solidified Dolphin’s position as Group ‘D’ leaders and secured their spot in the knockout stage.
Meanwhile, Waramuri Secondary delivered an emphatic performance against New Amsterdam Secondary, cruising to a 5-1 victory. Denzell Abrams opened the scoring in the 20th minute, followed by a quick succession of goals from Ricardo Lewis (21’), Shakeel Marks (37’), Orwin Abrams (40’), and Dwayne Boyal (45’). Waramuri’s dominance throughout the group stage places them comfortably atop Group ‘A’ with nine points.
Over at QC ground, Yarrowkabra Secondary dismantled Tutorial High in a one-sided 4-0 match. Leroy Evans stole the spotlight with two goals in the 15th and 58th minutes, while Mekaiya Daniels and Nicholi Morris added their names to the scoresheet. The victory propelled Yarrowkabra into the next round with confidence as they continue their strong run in the tournament.
