Vive La Force ‘A’ & ‘B’ Allottees Updated on Ongoing Works

    Published on

Residents and land allottees of Vive La Force ‘A’ and ‘B’ were recently brought up to speed on the progress of critical infrastructure works in their communities, as government officials and contractors provided updates during a community engagement session.

    Infrastructure Upgrades in Focus

The meeting, held at the Vive La Force Community Centre, saw representatives from the Ministry of Housing and Water, Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA), and engineering firms outlining the scope and timeline of ongoing projects. These include road construction, drainage improvements, and the installation of water distribution networks—essential upgrades aimed at enhancing the quality of life for new and existing residents.

    Addressing Concerns and Ensuring Transparency

Allottees had the opportunity to raise questions and voice concerns about the pace and quality of the works. Officials assured residents that the projects are progressing according to schedule, with efforts being made to minimize disruptions and address any challenges swiftly. Special attention is being paid to ensuring that all infrastructure meets the required standards before the handover of lots to beneficiaries.

    Community Benefits

The upgrades are expected to pave the way for further development in Vive La Force ‘A’ and ‘B’, making the areas more attractive for families and investors. Improved roads and drainage will help prevent flooding during the rainy season, while reliable water supply will support both residential and small business needs.

    Continued Engagement

The Ministry of Housing and Water has pledged to maintain open lines of communication with allottees throughout the project’s duration. Regular updates and community meetings will continue, ensuring transparency and keeping residents informed every step of the way.

As works advance, Vive La Force ‘A’ and ‘B’ are set to become model communities for sustainable development on the West Bank of Demerara.
