    Hururu’s Alicia Fredericks stole the spotlight on night four of the ‘One Guyana’ Kings and Queens of the Sand Football competition, leading all scorers with a commanding performance that propelled her team to a resounding 6-1 victory over Circuitville Strikers. The match, played at the People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP-C) Linden office ground, saw Fredericks find the back of the net in the 8th, 9th, 22nd, and 23rd minutes, showcasing her scoring prowess and leading her team to a dominant win. Teammates Candacy Robinson and Kayana Cameron added to the tally with goals in the 15th and 21st minutes, while Camiza Jacobs netted the sole consolation for Circuitville Strikers in the 19th minute1.

    The excitement continued in the men’s division, with five teams securing victories as the battle for group supremacy intensified. Speightland triumphed 5-2 over Fearless, powered by braces from Quincy Beaton and Marvyn Jeffrey, and a goal from Earl Cornelius. Turf President edged Avacado Ballers 2-1, thanks to a brace from Clinton Charles, while Spaniards overwhelmed Lil Ballers 5-1, with Sigmund Cobena netting a hat-trick. One Syde routed Hard Knocks 5-3 in a high-scoring affair, with Kriston Lewis and Ryan Arthur each scoring twice. The night concluded with a thrilling 2-2 draw between Young Gunners and Foundation Family, ensuring that fans were treated to a festival of goals and drama1.
