The inaugural ‘Essequibo Is We Own’ Softball Cup championship concluded with a display of spirited competition and community pride, as CCC 2, Queenstown/Ariel, and Pitch Invaders each emerged victorious in their respective divisions.
The tournament, held across various venues in Region Two, brought together teams from across the Essequibo region and beyond, celebrating both the sport and the heritage of the area. In the open male category, Queenstown/Ariel clinched the title after a series of commanding performances that showcased their depth and teamwork. In the other divisions, Caribbean Cricket Club (CCC) II and Pitch Invaders also secured championship honors.
