According to police reports, the confrontation began around 6:21 AM at the head of Dakama Circle Street. What started as a heated dispute quickly escalated into a dangerous situation when at least three suspects drew firearms and discharged multiple shots, resulting in chaos and several injuries.

- Rondel Rodney, 27, from One Mile, Wismar, who suffered a gunshot wound to his right leg
- Tyrone Newton, 21, from Half Mile, Wismar, shot in his right foot
- A 17-year-old male from Poker Street, Wismar, with a gunshot wound to his left hand
- Brian Johnson, 25, from Half Mile, Wismar, who was stabbed in his right eye
- Gladston Bristol, 31, from Redwood Crescent, Mackenzie, who sustained a chop wound to his head
Initial reports suggested that the incident might have been related to gang violence. However, eyewitness accounts paint a different picture, claiming that the altercation stemmed from a minor traffic collision, or “fender bender,” that rapidly spiraled out of control.
Commander Guy Nurse, along with other police officials, arrived at the scene shortly after the incident. The authorities have launched a full investigation into the matter, recovering seven 9mm spent shell casings, two 9mm live rounds, and one warhead from the site.
As of February 22, 2025, at least one suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting. Gladston Bristol, who is also among the injured, is currently under police guard at the Georgetown Public Hospital. Another suspect, known only as “Joby,” remains at large.
