THE Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has announced that tickets for the 2026 knockout stages will go on sale on December 22, with Barbados set to host the tournament’s grand finale.
In a festive-themed launch titled ‘Unwrap the Road to the Finals’, organisers confirmed that the four crucial playoff matches will be staged at the iconic Kensington Oval in September 2026.
Fans who purchase a full “knockout packageâ€â€”securing tickets for all four fixtures—will be entered into a draw for a coaching clinic with the tournament’s leading international stars.
The winners of the prize draw will have the opportunity to train alongside their CPL heroes on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, the day before the knock-out matches begin.
“We are delighted to offer supporters the chance to win a coaching clinic with some of the world’s best players,†said CPL chief executive, Pete Russell.
“With ticket prices starting from just US$20, fans can witness cricket history unfold at one of the world’s great grounds in an experience that is both affordable and unforgettable.â€
The business end of the competition will follow the tournament’s traditional four-match playoff format: Wednesday, Sept 16: The Eliminator (3rd v 4th); Thursday, Sept 17: Qualifier 1 (1st v 2nd); Friday, Sept 18; Qualifier 2 (Eliminator winner v Qualifier 1 loser) and Sunday, Sept 20: CPL Final
Kensington Oval takes over hosting duties for the finals from Guyana, which has held the event for the previous four years.
The 2026 edition is expected to begin in early August and will feature seven teams following the return of the Jamaica franchise.
While the finals are confirmed for Barbados, the full schedule for the Guyana Amazon Warriors’ home matches is yet to be announced.
Tickets go on sale at 09:00 local time (on December 22 via the official CPL website).
