Kevin Nedd, a 31-year-old resident of Golden Grove, East Coast Demerara, died in an accident that occurred at about 07:55 hrs on 15th September 2025 on the Cove and John public road, East Coast Demerara.

The accident involved motor car #PAL 8365, owned and driven by a 40-year-old man from Haslington, ECD; motor lorry #GAC 5625, driven by a 49-year-old man from Vigilance; and motorcycle #CM 3708, driven by Emanuel Elias, a 21-year-old from Victoria, ECD, with pillion rider Kevin Nedd (now deceased).

Enquiries disclosed that motor car #PAL 8365 was proceeding West along the southern driving lane in the line of traffic when the motorcycle, proceeding in the same direction from behind at a fast rate, slammed into the back of the car. As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist and pillion rider fell onto the northern driving lane (the pillion rider was flung into the path of the lorry), and they both sustained injuries.

They were picked up and rushed to the Enmore Regional Hospital, where they were seen and examined by a doctor on duty. The pillion rider, Kevin Nedd, was pronounced dead on arrival, while the motorcyclist, Emanuel Elias, was treated and sent away.
